A suspended sculpture made from textile waste, generously donated to me by friends and family; they find new life in this piece. Stained tablecloths, sun-bleached curtains, tattered t-shirts, and discarded bedsheets were broken down into strips of yarn, then intertwined through crochet to form a connection of narratives embedded in our everyday fabric. Influenced by the metamorphosis of the butterfly and the parallel between its journey and these materials as they transcend their original purpose to emerge as something new.
